Wordless Wednesday- I just got spayed

Wordless Wednesday- I just got spayed.

Today’s Wordless Wednesday post is a snapshot from way back in 1998. My first cat Precious had just returned from the vet. She got spayed. She was groggy and not in the mood for a picture, but I got one. After two days she was feeling fine and dandy though.

Precious got spayed.

It’s so important to get your cats and dogs spayed/neutered to help with the overpopulation crisis. It’s also beneficial to the health of your pet. Here are just a few benefits of getting your pet fixed you may not be aware of. According to the ASPCA, some of the benefits of spay and neutering your pet include:

  • Nuetered male pets are better behaved.

  • Female pets won’t go into heat.

  • Male dogs will be less likely to roam away from home

  • Female pets will live a longer healthier life.

  • Spay and neutering your pet means you spend less money as there is no litter to take care of.
