My Favorite Redbubble Artists in 2020

Fall is right around the corner and I had to fill you in as to what I’ve been up to in the art department. With COVID-19 changing our lives for the foreseeable future, you would think that would leave me so much time to paint. Not! I may be alone when I say this but working from home while in a pandemic has not slowed me down. I did not see so much difference in my work schedule after the pandemic other than my physical location. I’ve been busy!

The newfound advantage I had was extra time discovered from a shorter commute….right down the hallway to my living room. While in this pandemic, although I’ve been busy I have experienced life-changing events and purposely made an effort to release some commitments that no longer served me. It was part of my self-care. As I always say… self-care is important when healing and putting yourself first.

While doing so I used my newfound time to get back to what I love….art. So aside from starting a painting (I have yet to finish), I created a few new designs for my Redbubble shop. Additionally, while reading posts from some of my favorite pet bloggers I discovered a few new artists you should know about. Hence, I’ll share with you today my favorite Redbubble artists in 2020.

All the Redbubble artists mentioned are all creatives, writers, photographers and bloggers who have expanded their creativity to the Redbubble world. Take a look at some of my favorite animal loving artists I recently discovered online.

Discovering new Redbubble artists in 2020

    For the Cat Lovers

Marjorie Dawson – Cat blogger & Awarding winning author of Dash Kitten

My first favorite Redbubble artist was discovered by accident. I was reading an update from my blogging colleague Marjorie about her new refreshed blog look and while reading about her recent changes and life events I learned she had a RedBubble shop for Dash Kitten.

Dash Kitten is a space where you can learn about cat photography and movie making skills online. You can view her Redbubble page below or visit her blog here:

“I am a New Zealand based blogger who discovered photography and, in particular, photographing cats.

There is a magic to photography I love exploring and I share the best of Wellington and its cats here in my store on Red Bubble

Middle-earth has some special cats and wonderful cat cafes, including one where I love to spend time taking pictures. Taking pictures of cats has challenges and rewards all its own.

Thank you for taking time to enjoy my work.”

I purchased a few of her greeting cards as I always can use a nice “Thank You” card and blank cards with cute designs. And naturally, I’m a cat person. The shipping was in decent time, good card quality stock with envelopes as well.

Here’s a picture of the items I picked up from Marjorie’s store.

For the Dog Moms & Dads

Cathy Armato – Dog Mom, Advocate & Author of Caluvdogs.com

Now you know  I cannot leave out the dog lovers!  My second favorite Redbubble artist is a fellow blogging colleague as well. Author and animal welfare advocate Cathy Armato has started her own Redbubble shop with a quintessential unconditional love design dedicated to those with furry family members with 4 paws and wagging tails.

Be sure to check out her Redbubble shop below and her pet blog Caluvsdogs where she writes content for dog lovers interested in health, safety, wellness and travel.

Inspired by wonders of the world

Dr. Stanley Saunders – Doc Saunders Photography

Next, I learned about this talented photographer named Dr. Stanley Saunders through family. Ironically enough, when checking my emails and surfing the web I stumbled upon his new shop on Red Bubble. He’s one of my new favorite Redbubble artists.

He is a physician turned photographer who captures the wonders of the world through the eye of his camera lens. His images are stunning, captivating and remind you of just how much beauty there is left in this world. From wild animals and native culture to scenic landscapes and classic cars, this artist has a variety in his portfolio.

I rock with Jesus and enjoy the inspiration of all kinds so I picked up a tee and magnet for my fridge. You can see the printing quality is very good. I was happy with it.

You can see more of his portfolio of work on his Redbubble shop Art by Ken below.

    My painting in progress…

Like I mentioned before, I had started painting on a whim as I found some time for me however never finished. I’m not sure what the end result would be but this is my progress so far.
