Hey guys! Spring is here and it will only be a matter of weeks before we are all talking about Summer vacation. Is it me or does time fly, especially as you get older! My goodness, there are just not enough hours in the day. Hence, today I have to share with you some life updates and what I’ve been up to.
If you have been following my blog for the past 2 years you know that I left my corporate 9-5 job to rediscover and feed my passion for expressing my creativity. If you missed that post be sure to read Lessons learned the day I left my day job and met one special fan!
In the past two years I’ve learned about blogging, time management, taking risks, working from home and fitting in time for creative projects like vision boards, drawing and painting! To be honest I have been trying many things and juggling a lot. Some things have been successful and some things just have not worked out, but I’m grateful for the lessons.
One of these days I’m going to have to write a separate post about work from home opportunities I’ve discovered along the way. Let me know in the comment section below if that is a post you’d be interested in.
My Life Now
Still a foster mom
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I’ve continued to share my blog posts as well as fostering adventures. My last foster Nubs was transferred to a new facility and hopefully will find her forever home. Currently I’m still awaiting my next foster cat.
My work life
As for work, I currently work close to home part-time outside of the home and also work part-time from the comfort of my home as well. I’ve learned a lot in the last year. I’ve discovered a whole new world of opportunities when it comes to working from home I never even knew existed. It’s important to take risks because on the other side of fear can be new-found happiness and joy.
My Redbubble shop
Additionally, I also still have my Redbubble shop as well. I love creating new designs and sharing with others. It’s a nice way to create passive income. You can check out my Impurrfectlife Art Studio portfolio of work by clicking the Redbubble tab up top or the image at the end of this post below.
And that leads me to why you are here now…
Getting back to my art
With Spring here and focusing on more pet related content as of late I let my time dedicated to my art fall by the wayside. It’s been far too long! So today I have to let you know you can expect more art inspired posts from me this season. I’m super excited to get back to painting. I have some great ideas in my head I must put brush to canvas. I look forward to sharing with you in the coming weeks.
