With autumn here and the holidays soon approaching, I figured it is time to change up my routine. This time of year I love comfort food as the weather gets cooler and I fancy delicious new flavors. One way in which you can incorporate different foods with tasty flavor is to add a little pumpkin spice and everything nice! I love meals that are quick and easy to make. So I decided to try something other than my green smoothie and make a pumpkin spice smoothie instead. A smoothie makes for a great fulfilling snack or a light morning or mid-day meal.
A few of my personal favorite flavors this time of year happens to be cinnamon, gingerbread and pumpkin spice. Here is a yummy pumpkin smoothie I tried yesterday day and it tastes great. It is very thick and filling and has those spice elements that remind you of the holidays. I must give credit where credit is due as I got this recipe from The Food Network. You can also check out the hyperlink below for additional information. You will need a high-speed blender or a Nutribullet and the following ingredients.
