I know I can relate to feeling this way on occasion. However, sometimes all you just need is a bit of inspiration to jumpstart your creative brain waves again. Here are 25 clever ways to boost your creativity today.

Try these 25 strategies to boost your creativity:

  1. Keep a journal. Some great ideas may come to you as you reflect on your day.

  3. Stay away from distractions.
  4. Make new definitions, erase stereotypes, and choose to see things differently.
  5. Once you’re refreshed, new ideas will come more easily.
  6. See a project or task from a different perspective.
  7. Create a mind map to visually represent the relationships between various ideas.
  8. Ask for help.

  19. Explore your artistic side. Draw, write, sculpt, or sing.
  20. Change your environment. Try a different setting to reflect on a project.

My Creative Process

One of the ways I love to explore my creativity is to try a variety of mediums. The best strategies that help keep me inspired include relaxing, dream interpretation, and traveling. Getting a change of scenery helps give me a fresh perspective and uplift my mood.

I’ve tried everything from ceramics and acrylic painting on canvas to digital graphic design using Canva. Canva is a great resource for creatives, bloggers, professionals, and more! You can create everything from long Pinterest graphics and social media post images to video recordings and presentations.

If you are not too artsy or tech-savvy, don’t worry. Canva makes it super easy for beginners to test out their skills with their platform. You can sign up for free or try their pro version with loads of additional features here.

Check out this quick preview of how I work in Canva to make graphic designs. Let me know if you’d be interested in a video tutorial of how I use Canva in the comments below.
