Spring Pop Up April art update!
I know you’ve heard me say it before but this time I think Spring is really here. For those of us on the East Coast I think we’ve finally passed the point of the ‘pop up’ nor’easter and heading into full bloom. I’m going to bet my life on it because this massive bug bite on my foot tells me so! Oh, how I can’t stand mosquitos in the Spring and Summertime.
Anyways, let me not get sidetracked. Today is feature Friday time and since the new season began I have created a few new digital art designs using Canva. I really felt inspired to create inspirational designs this time around to help uplift and motivate. With this in mind, check out the latest additions to my “words to live by” collection in today’s Spring Pop up April art update.

Blessed.
The hardest step is the first one.
Everyone has a story.
Smile.
Believe and achieve.
Those were just a few samples of designs I made easily in Canva. Are you a fan of creativity and art like I am?

I LOVEEE these quotes!!! You have such a gift for stringing words in such a beautiful way! can’t even a favorite, just love them all!!
Nali,
Thank you so much!
I’m slowly learning how to use Canva, but I did purchase the full version because there were things I needed that weren’t available in the free version. Wonderful pieces of artwork!!
Paula,
Thank you! I’m sure once you get the hang of all the features you’ll enjoy it. 🙂
OMD, these are amazing! Canva is amazing and you can do so much with it! We just use the free version and I don’t know what we would do without it!!!
Thank you! I totally agree. So grateful the free version has more than enough of what I need…for now! 😉
I love using Canva too. These are all wonderful quotes and we all need to be reminded to smile…there just aren’t enough smiles going around these days. I like using Wordswag for quick and easy quotes.
Amelia,
Oh I’ll have to google that. I haven’t heard of Wordswag before. Thanks for the tip!
Very lovely designs. With my profession, I use Adobe Creative Suite. But if I didn’t need them for my work, Canva would be a great, fun tool to play with.
Jana,
I’ve heard great things with Adobe but haven’t used any of their creative/graphic programs, only Adobe Professional for Pdfs and such. Is there a free trial version?
These are cute. Apps like Canva make it really easy for anyone to express their creative side. Looks like you’re having fun with it.
Debbie,
Absolutely! I am having fun. I’m happy others are enjoying my creations as well. 🙂
These are such lovely designs! I love the hardest step is the first one, and the everyone has a story one! Great job and they look so fun to create! 🙂
Rebecca,
Thank you so much!
These are lovely! I haven’t used Canva very much, but I see why it is so popular!
Beth,
Thank you!
I tried Canva for the first time this week, so still getting to grips with it, but was pleased with what I created. I love all your designs but my favourite is ‘smile’ and the sunflower because when I see sunflowers, that’s what I do… smile ☺️
Michelle,
Thank you! I think you’ll grow to like Canva. The free version has many things to try and if that’s not enough you can always upgrade. Enjoy!
Loving all this lovely quotes and the pictures so pretty. No doubt that spring brings so much inspiration and color to our lives. Enjoyed this blog post a lot thanks for making my day.
Adriana,
Thanks for the kind words. Always happy to share words of inspiration and positivity. Glad you enjoyed this post.
I just pinned a couple of these on to my “Quotes” board…LOVE THEM!
Caren,
Awesome and thanks for sharing! Appreciate it! 🙂
I like the story one. The image goes nicely with the words and I love looking at water and pictures/photos of water. You’ll have to do a Canva tutorial!
Thank you. Oh…that would be a good idea for a vlog post!
I have never used them and am going to check them out, I love what create with the quotes and always enjoy reading them.
Thank you Ruth!
I use Canva all the time, and I could never come up with designs as beautiful as yours!! You did such an amaing job, one is more gorgeous than the next.
Hindy,
Thanks. It was really fun and easy with the drag and drop method. I look forward to creating more designs to share.
I love Canva. I am not an artist myself but Canva and some of my other software allow me to exhibit my creative side and add interest and fun to my blog.
Anita,
That’s the beauty of Canva. We can be Graphic artists! 🙂
These are really beautiful Kamira! It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I love the beach & the water so I’ll say Taking The First Step is the Hardest and Believe & Achieve are my faves. You’re becoming such a Canva expert, great job.
Love & Biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
Cathy,
Thank you so much. Glad you liked these creations. 🙂
