I bought pet stairs for my senior cat and this happened.

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know that my niece just happens to have four paws and is named Sushi. Sushi is a domestic shorthair cat and she is a senior cat 15 years old.

On a recent visit to my sister’s house for the holidays, I stopped by with presents in toe. Of course, I had to get my niece something practical that she could use daily.

Seeing how she’s much older now, her mommy advised me that she doesn’t get up onto the bed as easily as she used to. So being the helpful auntie I am, I stumbled upon the Best Pet Supplies foldable foam pet stairs for senior pets on Amazon.

With a nice selection of neutral and trendy colors to choose from, I ordered the stairs in the color grey on Amazon and within a few days received them at my home. I was so excited to hand deliver Sushi’s Christmas gift early.

Seeing how my niece is a senior cat, I thought it would be helpful to share my experience to help others.

    Product Details

The pet stairs I ordered were in the gray lattice color with three steps and a height of 16.5″ inches.

The colors offered range in neutral tones from gray, white, light blue, brown, and mustard colored. The step options are two, three, and four steps. The height of the steps is 12” (2-step), 16.5” (3-step), and 22” inches (4-step).  The overall length of the stairs in any height is 21” inches long and the width is 16” inches.

Sushi weighs under ten pounds and the step is perfect. I didn’t see the weight limit on the description at the time of ordering however, I think if a pet is under 20 pounds the stairs would be more than suitable for them.

Best Pet Supplies Foldable Foam Pet Stairs (Gray Lattice)

    Review

These pet stairs are great for older pets’ safety and stability or those struggling with achy joints.

I like that the stairs are furry and soft yet sturdy. The material is made of foam and is safe and non-toxic for pets.

Best Pet soft stairs are easy to store as well since the top stair flips down on top of the bottom step to form a rectangular cube to store away in a closet or corner.

    Where can I get one?

Over the holiday season, I snagged this stair set for about $49.00 plus tax, however, pricing may vary. Currently, on Amazon, the pricing starts at $43 and up.  This is also available wherever you can find pet supplies at your local retailer or online places like Chewy dot com.

When Sushi is not in the kitchen noshing on food, she loves to be close to her mommy on her desk or on her bed.

Seeing how Sushi was having trouble hopping on the bed, I decided to place the stairs against the bedside for easy access.

Sushi didn’t gravitate to the stairs at first however she caught on quickly with a little coaxing from her auntie and mommy with treats strategically placed on the first step.

She didn’t perform in front of company (me) but by the time I returned home, it was not long before I received a text from her mommy that she went up and down the stairs with ease.

    The Final Verdict

Sushi’s new Best Pet Supplies Foam Pet Stairs are a hit! This is “senior cat approved” and four paws up!

As a customer, I give this product five stars. Not only do the stairs look visually appealing but the functionality and purpose they served delivered.

It’s nice to know that Sushi will be able to navigate around the house a lot easier and safer now.
