Embracing Change : I’m downsizing, and closing up shop now.

Hey friends! Greetings. I hope you are doing better than the last time we caught up! My personal and professional day job has been super busy. As a result, my free time dedicated to the blog and content creation has been slacking. My apologies!

Now that November is almost a distant memory and the year is about to come to a close, I had to reconnect with you here on the blog.

    My Mission

As you may or may not know, starting this blog in 2016 was a labor of love that turned my pain of losing my heart cats Dusty and Precious into purpose. Sharing my healing journey through blogging was a creative way to help other grieving pet parents.

After all these years, my mission remains the same; however, the social media landscape I use to share and reach others continues to evolve.

    Making Changes

With the blog’s growth and my YouTube Channel, I can tell that grief, like life, ebbs and flows.

With this in mind, I‘ve discovered that my message and mission resonates best with pet parents online through my video content on YouTube and here on the blog, in contrast to Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.

As a result, I’ve slowly discontinued the latter platforms over the past few months, with Twitter(X) being the last on the horizon. I will explore other social media platforms to keep my online presence so grieving pet parents can find my helpful posts and content.

    Detour

Speaking of pet parents, I took a recent day trip with my sister to Eleventh Hour Rescue to inquire about fostering cats. To our surprise, another big-hearted volunteer scooped up the cats we anticipated fostering.

Oh well, next time! But I did not leave without taking a few pictures first! You can see the shy and beautiful black cat duo and friendly tabby cats below.

    Closing up shop

Lastly, as I mentioned earlier this year, it’s official. My Etsy shop has officially closed. To be honest, although the Etsy shop did okay, recent algorithm changes, new company rules, and automation issues proved to be a mismatch fit for my needs as a seller and providing the best experience for my customers.

I’ve switched platforms, so my digital printable poems are available at a lower 20% discount when you use code SAVE20 at checkout. You can browse and purchase these unique and colorful printables by visiting my Impurrfectlife Shop via Payhip here.

Budget-friendly digital printables make for a great impromptu gift idea for framing, including in a care package or a greeting card for a grieving pet parent and friend.

    Happy Holidays

As 2024 comes to a close, I want to Thank you for your support over the years. Remember, you can still access more of my content by following me on Pinterest and my YouTube Channel.

Until we meet again, may you, your family, and your loved ones have a blessed holiday season. Be well.
