When you think about your career, would you classify yourself as a novice? Are you an expert in your field? How did you get to the place you are now? Did you train with a mentor? Did you study at a university? All learning is not the same. How we develop into the people we are today is a reflection of the path we have chosen to get there.
Living through such uncertain times, I really can empathize with students who now need to transition overnight into online learning. I personally have experience learning in both brick and mortar schools and online university.
I hope today’s quote inspires students both young, old and in between to remember you are not alone. All learning is not the same for everyone. We are learning the art of adapting to new ways while attaining new skills in the process. Be patient with yourself. It is during times of challenge and stress that you learn the most about yourself. You may just surprise yourself, and discover you are stronger than you think!
