Do you talk in your sleep? You may snore or whisper, or you may even hold full conversations. Even if you don’t talk in your sleep, you’re still communicating with your body language. A withdrawn person may sleep curled up, while an outgoing person is likely to steal all the covers. We can reveal a lot about ourselves when we sleep.

The same thing goes for your little fluff ball. If your watch closely, you can gain just as many insights into your pet’s state of mind while they sleep. You may not be able to ask your cat if they’re cold or hot, but the way they act can tell you the answer. If they’re huddled in a ball, they may be cold, and if they’re or sleeping with their paws in the air they may be too warm.

Since your cat sleeps between 10 to 15 hours a day, if you’re not paying attention to what they’re doing in their sleep, you may be missing a bunch of things your pet could be trying to tell you. So, keep an eye out for how your kitty sleeps to learn how to help them have a more restful sleep, and happier playtime.
