You’ve got Mail
Hey guys! Remember when I told you I’d be having a special giveaway coming soon? Well today’s the day! First, before I spill the beans and tell you what you could win, let me recap exactly how we got here. A couple of weeks ago, before I went on hiatus, I had a message in my inbox on social. To my delight I discovered a message from Melissa Lyons. Like myself at the time, I bet you are wondering, “Kamira, who’s that?”
Melissa Lyons is a bestselling author, speaker and entrepreneur who has made it her mission to focus on helping others in their time of grief and healing through her inspirational writing style. With her bestselling debut book, I Will Always Love You: A Journey from Grief and Loss to Hope & Love, Melissa Lyons has helped many others cope in the grieving process. And now with her latest book, Until We Meet Again: From Grief to Hope after Losing a Pet she offers a heartwarming tale and insight to finding healing post pet loss with messages from the heart to help one cope.

Well, to my delight she reached out to me to tell me about her books and after previewing her audio book online, it brought me to tears.
Here I am minding my own business and BAM!! Like lighting striking a tree, her narration, music and vivid illustrations tugged my heart strings. I let her know just how beautiful and touching her book was and she was kind enough to forward me a copy of both books plus extras!
Before we get to the giveaway, let me just take a moment to offer my insight and review of these two books.

I Will Always Love You: A Journey from Grief and Loss to Hope & Love
In this book illustrated by Mary Cindrich, the author brings peace and comfort for those that have lost a loved one. With comforting words of encouragement, strength and reference to the divine, Melissa takes the reader on a magical enchanted journey though the eyes of a child through the forest of life.
Focusing on messages of positivity and strength, one can conclude that not only do our loved ones continue to look after us when they are gone, they want the best for us while we continue our life journey.
By the end you understand that love never dies but just transcends the physical. Love is eternal and like the title says, I will always love you.

Until We Meet Again: From Grief to Hope after Losing a Pet
Melissa did it again with this second book. With bold and vivid color illustrations by Patricia Henderson, the author dedicates this book to bereaved pet parents or anyone that has ever lost a beloved pet.
Taking us on a journey through nature with beloved animals, the author communicates everlasting lessons and insights as to how our beloved pets want us to remember all that is good.
The underlying theme throughout asks us to remember the best part of life. Our pets lived by example showing and teaching us the most precious values of life.
Live life to the fullest, remember unconditional love and continue to chase your dreams. Learn to let go and release the pain to find true freedom and healing.
And by the end of our journey we are reminded that although they can not continue with us in the physical, they will be there in our hearts always. Until we meet again, I will always love you.

Final thoughts
Until We Meet Again: From Grief to Hope after Losing a Pet and I Will Always Love You: A Journey from Grief and Loss to Hope & Love are beautifully illustrated and written from the heart. Melissa’s writings are like a nice home cooked meal that comforts you and touches your heart and soul.
Both books are a short read and the vivid illustrations throughout book are beautifully done. I think both books are suitable for both children and adults as they both appeal to the childlike wonder that lives within us all.
I give both books two thumbs up and would definitely recommend. Either book would make a great gift for a bereaved pet parent or for anyone that has lost a loved one.

I would love to win either book!! Have multiple family members that have lost pets lately & would love to bless them with these books!!
Jeanne,
Oh I’m so sorry for your family members loss. I understand the pain. I think it’s very thoughtful and sweet of you to bless them with one of these books. I think they will absolutely love and appreciate it. Good luck!
I would like either book. I just lost my dad in March of this year, and I also have a 15 year old Boston who is having issues and I’m scared his time is nearing. I have lost my share of dogs in the past 5 years, and I’m more scared and lost without them than I am humans. I would love to read both of these books.
Cheryl,
Oh my goodness. I’m so sorry to hear about your Dad. Sending you a virtual hug and my deepest condolences. You have been through a lot in recent years and glad my blog has given you some comfort along the way. You are so strong. I’ll be keeping your senior Boston in my prayers that his time is extended far beyond what it may appear and he’ll pull through. Thanks for sharing and wish you good luck! Take it one day at a time. Be safe.xoxo
Dear Kamira,
Melissa beat you to it when she wrote that book about Pet Loss. However, you can still write a book about How to Ctreate a Superior Blog. This blog was outstanding. It was so good i felt compelled to read it straight through. Once again, you knocked it out of the park. You are an amazing young lady, and I am so proud of you. As a prophet, Ipredict that you will be very famous someday. God bless you , sweetie. Melissa couldn’t have picked a better writer to promote her book. You are amazing!
Yes! Her writings are beautiful. And Thank you very much 🙂 Fame is a bonus, but leaving a legacy of positivity and healing hearts when I’m long gone works for me. I’m glad you enjoyed this post Dad and appreciate the kind words very much. xoxo
