Monday Inspiration #93-The value of living in the moment
It’s the start of a new week and I’m sharing this Oprah Winfrey quote to help you remember to live in the moment. Despite the ongoing pandemic happening in the world and all the impact on our lives it has created, remember to see value in each day. Over the past year, we all have learned to find new ways of adapting and changing our lives to get by. It can be uncomfortable, disappointing, or downright upsetting, but we are still here. We get through tough times.
Lessons learned
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is not only to cherish those loved ones and friends in your inner circle, but I have learned to remember the value of waking up each day. Learn to let go of the past. Also, as the future is not promised to us, it is a call to action to live your life for today. Each day is a gift. Do not postpone what you can do today. Do not be afraid to dream or go outside your comfort zone. Stand in your truth. Fight for what you know to be good and correct for all.
Seeing the value of living in the moment makes me realize how fortunate we are to be here. It reminds me of how my own pets Precious and Dusty, lived their lives. They made the most of every day enjoying life’s simple pleasures like watching nature, enjoying belly rubs with Mom, and spending time relaxing with loves ones nearby.
Final thoughts
In conclusion, life is not easy and we all have experienced life’s challenges including grief and disappointment but we are stronger beings for it. Remember living life in the moment makes us cherish this life is truly a gift to not take for granted.

Thank you for another encouraging post. I know at times I get caught up in what I am doing in my world. This post made me stop and think about where I was when Covid started & how God got me through it as he continues each day. To be thankful, humble and show His love each day. For the memories I have of my loved ones who have passed.
