Monday Inspiration No. 99 – Keep all good things

Have you had a rough couple of days? Could you use a break? When was the last time you pampered yourself?

With the weather slow to warm up for incoming summer and juggling everything that daily life brings us, remember to take care of yourself. As our pets have taught us, life is short but meant to be enjoyed.

Work to live but don’t live to work. Enjoy the little things in life right now while you are able. Tomorrow is not promised, so have gratitude you were lucky enough to have another day on the planet.

Stay inspired this week with this quote of the day. Be sure to share this post with a friend to make them smile.

Do what you love!

With summer around the corner, take advantage of the warmer temperatures and get out of the house.

Do you enjoy outdoor activities? If you love nature, consider going for a walk or taking a hike. If you are not into nature, maybe try attending a local farmer’s market or festival in town.

Do you like arts and crafts? Try a painting class or pottery lesson.

Are you a foodie? Explore trying a new recipe for dinner.

Are you an avid book reader? Take 30 minutes out of your day to get comfortable on the sofa and cuddle up with a good book.

Do you love animals like me? Help out your local animal shelter and volunteer.

Do you feel run down? Take a nap! There is nothing wrong with taking time to recharge. Listen to your body.

Good advice and good timing, Kamira. I’m in need of a pick-me-up lately as I so miss my Wolfie. I’m also getting ready (is one every really ready???) for ortho surgery and it’s been weighing on my mind. I’ll refer back to this! I do love reading and being outside…I’m finding other calming releases since Wolfie, passed. My huskies were always a wonderful calming company, and a mood uplifter.; they always seemed to know when I needed some extra nuzzles and kisses. My grandchilden are a wonderful source of joy (and keep me busy so I don’t focus on it)! I love positive posts like this!

      Dorothy,
Oh my! Wishing you success in your upcoming procedure. I know that must be nerve-wracking. Finding new ways to soothe your soul without your heart dogs around is tough, however, I’m glad you have some joy with your grandchildren. I know it’s not the same, but it helps. I will definitely keep the positive inspiration posts coming! Thanks so much for your kind words and feedback. Good luck on surgery day.
