    7 Books I recommend to find comfort after Pet loss

    Finding healing in reading

    After suffering the loss of my cat Dusty I was on a quest to find multiple ways in which I could not only find validation for my feelings but also find comfort. I had to adjust to a new normal after she passed away. It was difficult and a journey that did not happen overnight. However, I am happy to say, I did find a place of peace and light at the end of the tunnel. Some of the resources that helped me the most in addition to time, volunteer work, and prayer included reading. If you are both an animal lover and a book lover, this post is for you.

    Today I will share with you my top 7 books I recommend to find comfort after Pet loss. I have personally read each of these books and can testify that all of them helped me find joy, inspiration, and a sense of peace post pet loss.

    I give this book two thumbs up. It is both entertaining and informational. I would recommend it for any animal lover including bereaved pet parents. After reading this book, you cannot help but feel more inspired and optimistic about life. You will gain greater appreciation and gratitude for the life you shared with your furry best friend past and present.

    2. I will always love you: A journey from grief and loss to hope and love by Melissa Lyons

    In this book illustrated by Mary Cindrich, the author brings peace and comfort for those that have lost a loved one. With comforting words of encouragement, strength, and reference to the divine, Melissa takes the reader on a magical enchanted journey through the eyes of a child through the forest of life.
