My May Art Update!
Memorial Day holiday is right around the corner and June will be here before we know it. Can you believe this month is just about over? Where does the time go? With summer approaching and a fresh new attitude, I’ve created a few more new digital artworks using Canva yet again! You know I often post art works that are orignal paintings by yours truly however, I’ve really enjoyed testing our my digital drag and drop skills in Canva. And to be honest, I’ve gotten a welcoming response to my digital creations, so I’m not about to disappoint you now!
These designs are very simple however sometimes the designs that are most impactful are those without a lot of detail but resonate with others through the words.
New designs to get you inspired and make you smile!
So today’s post is my May art update check in and I’ll share with you a few designs I created to inspire and make you smile. All my works are available through my RedBubble shop. So that means you can get any of these designs on a variety of items including tees, totes, throw pillows, phone cases, greeting cards, journals, canvas reprints, stickers and more. WOW!! Your art work is beautiful. Kamira i’m so proud of you. You’re doing what you love and doing a beautiful job at it. This is going to get really big for you, because your work is of high quality. Your work is very uplifting. As you know I’m in the fight for my life and your work gives me hope. Thank you and I will continue to support you .
Kamira Gayle
Thanks for the words of encouragement and support! Appreciate it and glad my works help lift your spirits.

Love your work!! Canva and I don’t seem to connect in the same way I’m afraid, no matter how many tutorials I’ve done I can only manage something basic. As I’ve mentioned before I’m a fan of inspirational quotes so my favourite of this batch is “when you learn to love yourself that’s when the magic happens.”
Kamira Gayle
Hindy,
Thanks so much! I like to try to tinker around and figure stuff out. I’m having fun! I love that quote too.

My Canvas skills are clearly lacking! They’re lovely and so inspirational! Simple is good.

Thanks April!

Love your notebooks. We can never have enough notebooks and people who don’t use them are missing a whole new level of thinking!
Good luck with the sales 🙂
Kamira Gayle
Marjorie,
Thank you!
Roland
Words to live by indeed. You seem to have a good thing going on here. Though I’m not into art like that, I can sure give credit when credit is due. I hope you do well and that everything you do becomes a success.
Kamira Gayle
Thanks Roland! Appreciate that. 🙂

You’ve done some really nice work here! I wish graphic design was my area. I’m always so impressed. Do you create designs for baseball caps ever?
Kamira Gayle
Thanks Amy! Hmm…baseball caps never came to mind. That’s a good idea to add! I’ll have to consider that. 🙂
Jana Rade
I love the “My Kids Have Paws” shirt! Totally awesome. Around here, though only can wear things that cover much more of the body, else the bugs will drain all my blood 😉
Kamira Gayle
Jana,
LOL I understand exactly what you mean. My husband teases me and says bugs like me because I’ve got that sweet blood. LOL
Sweet Purrfections
I haven’t thought about using Canva to design graphics to go on t-shirts and cups! My favorite is “My kids have paws.”
Kamira Gayle
Yes! Me too. That’s what I love about Canva and Redbubble. It’s as easy as creating an original image and uploading. 🙂
Bernard Lima-Chavez
I’m a huge street art fanboy and love any attempt to share and promote art! Unsolicited idea/tip (Absolutely no offense intended!):
It might be fun to partner with a pet-loving artist to see what might come from a collaboration!
Kamira Gayle
Bernard,
That’s for the tip! No offense taken at all. I welcome the constructive criticism. 😉 Love your art/pet blog too.
Sonja of Montecristo Travels
One of these days I will get my art and product side of the blog up and running. Maybe after book #2 is published. One project at a time right? Thanks for inspiring.
Kamira Gayle
Sonja,
Book #2? That’s awesome. Yes, one thing at a time. Between travelling the world , writing and blogging you’ve got a lot going on too! Wish you the best on the book!
Cathy Armato

My favorite is the one about learning to love yourself. I think it is really true, but I also wonder what we can do to help people grow up loving themselves. It seems heartbreaking that there are so many people that don’t love themselves automatically.
Kamira Gayle
Beth,
So true. That’s exactly why I wanted to create positive messages. People need it. Sorry to say often times people don’t get the loving support from their own parents or family growing up and that manifests itself into lower self esteem and value.
Dorothy "FiveSibesMom"
They are all so inspiring. I love “Keep Dreamin'” because at any age, our dreams keep us moving forward and shooting for the stars!
Kamira Gayle
Dorothy,
I agree 100%
