Monday Inspiration #78- A different measure of success
If you are like me and have dealt with feelings of stagnation at times, you are not alone. Today’s quote is an important one. In this world of instant gratification and perceived perfection, it’s easy to think you are not doing enough or have feelings of inadequacy. Please remember, you don’t have compare your journey to someone else’s measure of success.
You have no idea the circumstances or resources they may or may not have had access too. What is meant for you will be. What looks desirable for another person may be a nightmare for others and vice versa. Remember to not covet what others have. You have no idea what they may have sacrificed to get what they have.
Tend to your own garden and appreciate all the hurdles you have overcome to get where you are. That is no small feat. Celebrate the small victories along the way. All of these victories and accomplishments add up to one heck of a story.
Remember your personal journey is a different measure of success. Be proud of where you come from and be even more proud you are destined for somewhere even better. You got this!
