Animals are better off than us humans. What am I talking about? I’m referring to character. If you are like me and an animal lover, I’m sure you’ll agree that one of the most lovable qualities animals posses is that of unconditional love and loyalty. They really live their short lives to the fullest. They love hard and go hard. We as humans can take note!
Humans are a work in progress. Instead of obsessing over what’s wrong in your life or what you don’t have, focus on enjoying that which you do have. We need to do a better job of living in the present versus living in the past. Remember, we are all on our own individual journeys. We all have a purpose. Part of life is discovering what your purpose is in this life. Do you know what your purpose is? You may not have that question figured out yet, but one goal most of us desire is to be a become a better person than we were yesterday.
They are a great example of what it means to be carefree, happy, active, inquisitive, grateful, selfless and loving unconditionally. For myself, I know I can always improve in some areas. For example, getting more active is one area I’m working on. Even with recovering from a knee injury, I do my best to try simple exercise like beginner yoga to improve my flexibility and strength. Also practicing patience is another area I work on, especially with fostering cats.
