My 2019 Spring Art Update
Well “Hello there!” friends! Today’s post will be short and sweet. Remember a while back I mentioned I’d be incorporating more art into the blog? Well today is your lucky day! If you follow me on social media you know that I finally carved out some time to do a little painting. While creating my pieces I decided to document a few shots to share.
It’s been quite a while since I last updated you on my new art projects. With the new season of Spring in full effect and Summer not far behind, I wanted to share this Spring art update today! So let me share with you what I’ve been working on and see how I work. It’s one of my goals to share more video posts with you on the blog. Do you have 2 or 3 minutes to spare? Check out the video below. I hope you enjoy and share your thoughts.
I’m awaiting more art supplies at the moment so expect more art content soon. What did you think of this video post? Would you like to see more video posts from me? Comment below.

Very nice. My favorite is the cat on the swing. I’m sure art helps to relax you.
Paula,
Yes indeed!! Thank you!
These are awesome. I never learned how to even draw.
Jana,
Hee hee!! Thank you so much!! It’s never too late to learn something new!! You should try a Paint nite class in your town. It’s fun to do something creative with some girl friends. There are instructors to help assist you along the way. Have you heard of it before? Thanks again for the kind words!
It is great that you’ve made time to work on your art! I always love seeing what you’ve been painting. I look forward to seeing more of your art on your blog.
Beth,
Thank you so much!! I’m excited to get back go my other passion as well!
Love the cat on the swing. It looks so sweet. Odd thought but it looks gentle enough to be part of a condolence card range (or it is just me?) It’s beautiful.
Margorie,
I agree with you. That’s the beauty of art. It can be interpreted in many ways. You can view this image on stationary here if you wanted to see what it looks like! Thank you for the kind words! https://www.redbubble.com/people/impurrfectlife/works/39092375-swingin-kitty
Your new Art Looks great! So awesome of you to share. I haven’t braved into the land of youtube yet.. haha. Keep up the good work.
Thank you!! I’m a work in progress in art AND YouTube land. One step at a time right? LOL
I’m so glad that you’ve been able to make time for your art again! Having a positive, creative outlet is so important. Look forward to seeing more!
Debbie,
Thank you!
The new art looks great. I’m glad you found time to get back to it and that you are adding more to your site. As you know, I love videos but I would also love to see a few images of the art in your post (some people might not have the extra time or desire to click away and watch the video but if they like what they see they can see more in the studio and in the video). XS
Susan,
Thanks for this constructive input. I’ll keep that in mind going forward too. Thank you for the kind words too.
I love that you are sharing your art here, I am always envious of those that are artists as I cannot even draw a straight line. Cannot wait to see more of what you are doing, thanks
Ruth,
Thank you so much! It’s hard to find quiet time to paint often so I’m making a conscious effort to shift my focus to more art this season. 🙂
I love the new art! It is great that you are adding more of it to your blog – it seems like a big part of you. I’m trying to expand and show the world a bit of my art too. The kitty on the swing is really adorable by the way.
Robin,
Thank you so much! Oh I didn’t realize your dabble in art too. I’ll have to keep an eye out on your social/blog. Sweet! Thanks for the kind words too.
